Club Leader Reminders

Please review these expectations before holding your meetings.

01

Meeting Spaces & Capacity

Available spaces this year are three classrooms and, occasionally, Cassidy Commons. Vaghi and the Auditorium are being used for Guest Speakers and College Visits and are booked for the Fall Semester.

If you reach maximum capacity in your space, please send additional students back to Homeroom. Homeroom Meetings should begin between 9:25 and 9:30.

02

Before, After School & FLEX

If you need additional meeting time, students are encouraged to use before school, after school, and FLEX Time.

Your moderator can write late passes for athletic practices for students who hold meetings after school.

03

Submit Attendance

Students are required to attend Homeroom until announcements and prayer are completed. Attendance must be submitted by the end of the school day.

If attendance is not submitted, your club meeting for the following month will be cancelled.

Submit Club Attendance →
04

Club Moderator

If your Club Moderator is absent, your meeting will likely be cancelled. Because of limited space, a cancelled meeting cannot be guaranteed to be rescheduled.

05

Interest List ≠ Club Roster

Your list of interest emails is not your roster. After your first meeting, send an email asking students to commit to your club. That commitment list will become your first roster.

06

Student Club Commitments

Students will be asked to keep their commitment to 2–3 clubs. Students should not be missing Homeroom every day for clubs. There should also be time to support Mission and Ministry, meet with teachers, and simply sit and enjoy Homeroom.

07

Not Every Leader Needs to Attend

Not all leaders need to be present for every meeting. Changes cannot be guaranteed because of limited available space.

08

Club Invitations

Club members need a Club invite from a club leader to serve as their pass to attend club meetings. Forwarded club emails will not be accepted. Emails need to come directly from club leaders.

09

Social Media Accounts

If your club uses social media, the account must be approved by the appropriate school contact and your moderator. Both should have the username and password.

10

Fundraising & Bake Sales

There will be no bake sales approved this year outside of the three specific clubs identified. If your club uses meeting time to raise money, please develop alternatives.

Square is not available this year outside of selling Dance Tickets.

11

December Club Meetings

There will only be one week of Club meetings in December because of Exam Prep Week and Midterms. The November/December calendar will be posted in mid-October.

12

Club Purpose

If a meeting is simply being used to meet with friends or bring in food/snacks, the club will be removed from the Clubs and Activities Directory.

13

Posters & Advertising

All posters must be approved before being posted around campus. Posters must come down the day after your event.

Do not place posters in the main hallway between the Library and the 100s hallway.

Posters should not be made using AI and should be attached using painter's tape.
